Description

Healthy adolescents and young people (HAY!) aims to improve health for young people (10-24 years) in southwest Uganda through strengthened health promotion and health service opportunities, encouraging youth-friendly health facilities and addressing care-seeking barriers. HAY! takes a district-wide, strengths-based, and ‘everyoness’ (i.e. all community) approach; enagging health managers (district), health facilties, and communities (though volunteer community health worker networks). An evidence-informed implmentation process is used to guide activities.
