Description

This project aims to support approximately 40,000 girls and boys (of which 50% of girls) in Internally Displaced People (IDP) sites and host communities in Afar (11,000), Oromia (20,000), and the State of Southern Nations, Nationalities and Peoples (SNNP) (9,000). This project provides access to safe and protective learning opportunities linked with integrated child protection services, focusing on accelerated learning and transferrable skills training for out-of-school girls and boys. The activities are in line with 2020 Ethiopia Humanitarian Response Plan that focuses on providing learning opportunities in safe and inclusive school environments, retention of learners, and resilience building in school communities during the Covid-19 pandemic.
