The purpose of this project is to improve the health status of Venezuelan migrant populations, especially
women, in the municipalities of Tumaco, Ipiales and Pasto, in the department of Nariño, Colombia. To accomplish
this, DOTW will take action in two ways: 1) Increase equitable immediate access to gender-responsive services in
sexual and reproductive health and primary health care for Venezuelan migrant populations;
and 2) strengthen protection of the right to health, especially sexual and reproductive health rights,
mental health and psychosocial support, in both areas, especially for
women and adolescent girls, in the project’s target areas.

Immediate results: – Improved equitable access to SRH services for Venezuelan migrant populations, especially women and adolescent girls, in the targeted areas. – Improved equitable access to primary health services for Venezuelan migrant populations in the project’s target areas. – Increased access to quality protection and psychosocial support services for Venezuelan migrant women and girls in the project’s target areas. – Increased capacities of Venezuelan partner associations in terms of the right to health, gender equality, violence and sexual exploitation, and in supporting sex workers and LGBTI people.
