Results & Indicators

Expected Results

Greater enjoyment of rights by women and girls and promotion of gender equality:

– Improved management, programming and sustainability of local women’s organizations, particularly those representing vulnerable and marginalized women and girls;

– Improved provision of quality services and advocacy by WROs to advance gender equality;

– Increased effectiveness of women’s advocacy platforms, networks and alliances in influencing policy change and the implementation of gender-sensitive policies.

Achieved Results

Two WROs have improved their policies and practices in the areas of human resources, safeguarding, fundraising and codes of conduct.

Eighty-five (85) women were supported in their economic empowerment, 60 of whom received a small business grant and 25 of whom received cash for protection.

The two WROs published 27 social media posts on women’s rights, reaching 315,021 people.
