Results & Indicators

Expected Results

Greater enjoyment of rights by women and girls and promotion of gender equality:

– Improved management, programming and sustainability of local women’s organizations, particularly those representing vulnerable and marginalized women and girls;

– Improved provision of quality services and advocacy by WROs to advance gender equality;

– Increased effectiveness of women’s advocacy platforms, networks and alliances in influencing policy change and the implementation of gender-sensitive policies.

Achieved Results

Two services were developed under this project, including an emergency line to support people who are victims of gender-based violence and a website to advise women wishing to enter politics.

Four WROs developed practices and policies for the management of human resources and for monitoring and evaluation.
