Description

The Indigenous government has informed us that a need for 332 water filters still exists in these communities and their purchase and distribution to satisfy this demand is included in the proposal for 2026 projects. While water filters are not a total solution to solve the issue of drinking water scarcity, since training was provided to beneficiaries during the distribution of filters, we are seeing a very high use rate and a high level of understanding about the importance of the use of these filters to reduce water borne illnesses.
