Beyond 2020 Conference logo

April is an important month for our Partnership as we prepare for our upcoming Beyond 2020: An Agenda for Canadian Leadership in Women and Children’s HealthConference. It is a ‘must-attend’ event for any organization or individual planning to implement women and children’s health projects and/or programs post-2020. The Conference Emcee will be Caroline Codsi, founder ofWomen in Governance and we are excited to announce that Celina Caesar-Chavannes, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of International Development will deliver the closing keynote speech.

Last year, our Global Adolescent Health Conference’s hashtag was a top trending hashtag during the days of the conference, so follow along and engage again this year using #CanWaCH2020 (#CanSFE2020 in French) and be a part of the conversation! You can also live stream the event by registering here for the webcast.

We look forward to hosting all of you in Ottawa from April 18-19. You can find Conference materials, including the preliminary program and information on the First Annual CanWaCH Awards for Canadian Excellence in Women and Children’s Health, on our Conference page.  We are very excited about the launch of our first annual awards. We will reveal the award winners in Leadership, Gender Equality, Measuring Impact and Youth Advocacy during our Facebook live event, starting at 6:15 pm on April 18th.

Until then, we wish you all the best.
