Data for Impact: November 2020

Canadian Collaborative for Global Health Highlights

Two years ago, we launched the Canadian Collaborative for Global Health to provide academic, civil society and implementation partners a chance to address urgent data gaps in programming, measurement and monitoring and evaluation. We have since shared their exciting progress in areas of adolescent SRHR, nutrition and abortion care. The six Labs will be wrapping up their results and we’re looking forward to greater ideas exchanges!

Resource alert: Do NGOs need to conduct baseline surveys for program design and evaluation? Can publicly available data, such as from Multiple Indicator Cluster Surveys (MICS) or Demographic and Health Surveys Program (DHS), be used instead? Find out with the MaxData Lab.

Global Health Impact Report 2020 launches soon!

We’re less than a week away from launching the landmark Global Health Impact Report 2020. Building on the 2019 report, this operational report will share richer data from across 154 countries and 1105 global development and humanitarian initiatives. New this year is our country dashboards, which zoom in to the top five countries of Canadian investment.
