Together for Gender Equality: A celebration of Canadian contributions to development
February 5, 2019, from 5:00 – 7:00 pm – Registration required
Join Canada’s international development community, along with Global Affairs Canada and the Honourable Marie-Claude Bibeau, Minister of International Development, to celebrate International Development Week 2019 (#IDW2019).
In the spirit of coming “Together for Gender Equality”, we invite you to join the Canadian government and civil society to celebrate young Canadians who are finding new ways to empower women and girls and build a more peaceful, inclusive and prosperous world. This event is also a moment to recognize Canada’s leadership in achieving gender equality as we look toward the Women Deliver Conference in Vancouver in June 2019. You can also watch the event via live stream on Canada’s International Development – Global Affairs Canada Facebook page.
