Celebrating one year since Canada’s historic global health announcement
On June 4, 2019, Canada announced a historic $1.4 billion investment towards women and girls’ health globally. As we marked the one year anniversary of that groundbreaking announcement, we called on Canada to champion a feminist and human rights-based response to COVID-19, recognizing the pandemic’s gendered impacts and intersections with sexual and reproductive health and rights.

Integrating a gender lens in HR policies and practices
Prior to COVID-19, nearly one-third of all Canadian adults were providing unpaid care to a family member or friend, with women spending three times as many hours doing unpaid care and domestic work. As the pandemic continues to disrupt work-life balances, we invite human resources (HR) and managerial staff to join us for a webinar that will share concrete solutions and strategies for implementing strong internal HR and gender equality policies.
