Pan-Canadian Women’s Health Coalition Newsletter: Highlights from Vancouver + What’s Ahead for the Coalition

In-person Pan-Canadian Women’s Health Coalition knowledge mobilization event in Vancouver

On May 26–27, 2025, CanWaCH hosted a gathering of the Pan-Canadian Women’s Health Coalition, bringing together Hubs from across the country for a focused Knowledge Mobilization Event. The purpose: to strengthen and align individual and collective strategies that elevate the visibility, value and urgency of women and gender-diverse people’s health research in Canada.

Over two days, participants refined messaging, exchanged best practices and co-developed strategies to enhance policy influence in a shifting political landscape. Breakout sessions centered on storytelling, engagement strategies and collaborative case-building — laying the groundwork for transforming research into influence, and influence into change.

CanWaCH Vancouver Dialogue: Champions for women and gender diverse people’s health research

Wosk Centre for Dialogue in Vancouver, bringing together CanWaCH members and partners with a shared interest in advancing women’s and gender-diverse people’s health. The event provided a valuable opportunity for participants to connect with Hubs from the Pan-Canadian Women’s Health Coalition, fostering informal dialogue, relationship-building and knowledge exchange. Attendees explored opportunities for future collaboration, learned about innovative research initiatives, and engaged with the Coalition’s newly unveiled branding.
