On May 26–27, 2025, CanWaCH hosted a gathering of the Pan-Canadian Women’s Health Coalition, bringing together Hubs from across the country for a focused Knowledge Mobilization Event. The purpose: to strengthen and align individual and collective strategies that elevate the visibility, value and urgency of women and gender-diverse people’s health research in Canada.
Over two days, participants refined messaging, exchanged best practices and co-developed strategies to enhance policy influence in a shifting political landscape. Breakout sessions centered on storytelling, engagement strategies and collaborative case-building — laying the groundwork for transforming research into influence, and influence into change.
On May 26, 2025, CanWaCH hosted an informal evening gathering at the Morris J. Wosk Centre for Dialogue in Vancouver, bringing together CanWaCH members and partners with a shared interest in advancing women’s and gender-diverse people’s health. The event provided a valuable opportunity for participants to connect with Hubs from the Pan-Canadian Women’s Health Coalition, fostering informal dialogue, relationship-building and knowledge exchange. Attendees explored opportunities for future collaboration, learned about innovative research initiatives, and engaged with the Coalition’s newly unveiled branding.
