At its Annual General Meeting on November 4, 2016, the Canadian Partnership for Women’s and Children’s Health (CanWaCH) was pleased to welcome additional expertise from Plan International Canada and HealthBridge to its prominent Board of Directors.
Caroline Riseboro, President and CEO of Plan International Canada, and Sian FitzGerald, Executive Director of HealthBridge were elected as members of the Board at the CanWaCH AGM in Montreal.
Helen Scott, CanWaCH Executive Director, said the new directors bring even more strength to a Board that is comprised of some of the most preeminent Canadian leaders in the international development sector, including three recipients of the Order of Canada.
“Ms. Riseboro and Ms. FitzGerald have rich experience in women’s and children’s health, as well as international development,” said Dr. Scott. “The Canadian Partnership is very fortunate to be guided by leaders of their calibre and we look forward to working with them, as part of our Board, towards our continued success and sustainability.”
