Access to health: Strengthening transparency, accountability and inclusion in service delivery

March 5 @ 9:00 am - 10:30 am

Part of the Inclusive Service Delivery Africa (ISDA) project

Corruption and discrimination are major obstacles to achieving sustainable and inclusive development. They fuel inequalities in accessing essential services, reduce public resources and create barriers to effectively allocate money for education and healthcare. For women, girls and groups most at risk of discrimination, the impacts are significant, as corruption worsens existing disparities and widens the development gap.

On March 5, Transparency International Canada and CanWaCH will be hosting a crucial discussion on corruption and discrimination, highlighting progress in improving access to health services for women, girls and marginalized communities. The session will bring together representatives from Inclusive Service Delivery Africa (ISDA) chapters and guests working in the field. Join us as they share updates, discuss challenges, and explore practical approaches to strengthening transparency, accountability and inclusion in health service delivery.

The 90-minute discussion, including a period for Q&A, will start at 9 a.m. EST.

In-person participation in Toronto is limited. If you are interested in attending in person, please let us know as soon as possible by sending an email to [email protected]
