On July 31, at 5:00 PM EDT we will be talking with our colleagues from the ADRA Lebanon office to discuss ADRA’s work in Lebanon following the Beirut explosion of August 4, 2020. We will be looking at the disaster, ADRA’s response, and the continuing recovery a year later.
The explosion in the port of Beirut, Lebanon, left an estimated 300,000 people were left homeless. ADRA provided immediate humanitarian response followed by support in the months after.
