Welcome to the Indigenous, Local and Global Health Office’s Equity Film Series where we engage in discussions about social and health equity issues facing the communities we work with.
Switching Rhythm shares the journey of the Guyana Program to Advance Cardiac Care (in partnership with the Libin Cardiovascular Institute of Alberta, the University of Calgary and the Georgetown Public Hospital). Co-directors Drs. Debra Isaac and Wayne Warnica, program collaborators Drs. Karen Then and Sheila Klassen and film director Haley Martin will lead discussions around the importance and key factors of establishing sustainable global health initiatives particularly through education, compassion and evaluation.
