IGH Listening Tour: Community Partner Townhall (In-Person and Virtual)

20 June 2023 @ 1:30 pm - 4:00 pm

Free

Who should attend: Individuals and representatives from community organizations with an interest in sex- and gender-based health research, those working toward health equity for people of any and all genders in all their diversity, patient partners and people with lived experiences navigating healthcare systems, and/or people with ideas about advancing community-engaged health research.

‘Who should attend’ descriptions are just a guide. Participants are also welcome to attend multiple sessions.

Program: After a brief presentation about IGH’s past impacts and future directions by Scientific Director, Angela Kaida, we will open the floor to hear participants’ visions for the future of sex and gender science, and the priorities that IGH should centre in our next Strategic Plan. The event will close with an opportunity for informal networking.

Event format: This is a hybrid event. Attendees can register to participate in-person or virtually.

  • In-person location: University of Toronto Sandford Fleming Building, 10 King’s College Road, Toronto, ON, M5S 3G4 (exact room will be sent out closer to the event date)
  • Virtual participation: Zoom (link will be sent out closer to the event date)

This event is being held on the traditional land of the Huron-Wendat, the Seneca, and the Mississaugas of the Credit.

Light refreshments will be provided.
