17 March 2021 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

In this session, facilitators and participants will explore specific strategies, both quantitative and  qualitative, in regards to measuring gender dynamics, and women’s empowerment. Facilitators will explore femininist methodologies in practice; particularly, the specific opportunities and challenges that come with utilizing mixed methods in an increasingly virtual context. Facilitators will reflect on the supports (capacity, partnership, resources) needed to ensure the robust collection and use of mixed data. Discussants will share, and discuss how these processes  are critical to understanding complex environments and issues. This conversation directly leverages contributions from the Canadian Collaborative for Global Health.
