This project aims to improve the sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services available to the most vulnerable adolescent girls and women in Benin, Burkina Faso, and Mali. Project activities include: (1) supporting the financial autonomy of vulnerable and marginalized women and adolescent girls in order to reduce the economic and gender barriers to SRH services; (2) providing training to health care providers and administrators of health-care facilities on the provision of gender-responsive and adolescent-friendly SRH services; (3) providing technical and material assistance to women’s and adolescent girls’ rights organizations and defenders; and (4) providing equipment (including water, sanitation, and hygiene infrastructure) to health-care facilities. The project expects to benefit approximately 2 million vulnerable women and adolescent girls across the three countries. This project is being implemented in partnership with Lawyers Without Borders Canada and SOCODEVI (Société de coopération pour le développement international), as well as with key in-country partners.
