One year of a global pandemic: Where are we now?

As we marked the first anniversary of COVID-19 being declared a global pandemic on March 11, vaccines are being deployed around the world, including through COVAX, a global vaccine sharing initiative. In total, 15.6 million COVAX doses have shipped to 26 low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), with many more on the way. The mission to #EndCOVID19Everywhere continues!  Here are seven key things you should know about COVAX

A snapshot of  International Women’s Day 2021

This International Women’s Day (IWD), we took a (virtual) trip from Canada to Ecuador as two women leaders shared a day in the lives of two women leaders on the frontlines of the pandemic. Hear from Tori Ford, Founder and CEO of Medical Herstory, and Daniela Meneses, a medical doctor living in Ecuador!

CanWaCH also marked IWD with an appearance by CanWaCH CEO Julia Anderson on the latest episode of the ‘Women Don’t Do That’ podcast. Tune in for insightful perspectives on navigating your career, parenting and the pandemic as a woman, and how we can achieve recovery for women both at home and abroad!
